About the role
C&I Engineering is a design and consulting firm operating in the industries of oil & gas, food & beverage, distilled spirits, and renewables. We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Project Engineer to join our team and help with our work on the ground and in the field.
The Senior Project Engineer is the primary contact for engineering-related issues on the project and is responsible for coordinating engineering efforts with Project Management, Project Controls, Procurement, Construction, and Clients. They work on highly technical projects, planning, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring progress.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate information and design efforts of multi-discipline project teams.
- Integrate discipline plans into a plan of execution.
- Interpret construction drawings, technical directions, codes, and design standards.
- Facilitate various types of project meetings.
- Create, understand, and coordinate cost estimates and execute engineering schedules.
- Delegate tasks related to the projects effectively.
- Lead the organizing, planning, controlling, and monitoring of progress for the engineering efforts on the project.
- Ensure project procedures for engineering are established, documented, and known to all discipline leads.
- Monitor the project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Contact clients independently to gather information and resolve issues.
- Identify work opportunities with existing clients.
- Ensure company policy and standards are followed on projects.
Requirements
- 4-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university.
- 10 years of related work experience preparing construction documents in a multi-discipline engineering environment.
- PE license preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Willing to travel to job sites (up to 25% travel).

Pay
$110,000 to $140,000 per year.
