About the role
C&I is looking for a talented and driven Senior Project Engineer to join our team. This individual will plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor the progress of our work on highly technical projects in the oil & gas, food & beverage, distilled spirits, and renewables industries. The Project Engineer is the primary contact for engineering-related issues on the project and is responsible for coordinating engineering efforts with Project Management, Project Controls, Procurement, Construction, and Clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate information and design efforts of multi-discipline project teams.
- Integrate discipline plans into a plan of execution.
- Interpret construction drawings, technical directions, codes, and design standards.
- Facilitate various types of project meetings.
- Create, understand, and coordinate cost estimates and execute engineering schedules.
- Delegate tasks related to the projects effectively.
- Lead the organizing, planning, controlling, and monitoring of progress for the engineering efforts on the project.
- Ensure project procedures for engineering are established, documented, and known to all discipline leads.
- Monitor the project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Contact clients independently to gather information and resolve issues.
- Identify work opportunities with existing clients.
- Ensure company policy and standards are followed on projects.
Requirements
- 4-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university.
- 10 years of related work experience preparing construction documents in a multi-discipline engineering environment.
- PE license preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to job sites (up to 25% travel).

Pay
$110,000 to $140,000 per year.
