Senior Project Coordinator - I-24 Choice Lanes

About the role

This opportunity entails being part of the team responsible for the design and construction oversight of the I-24 Choice Lanes Project, a $5 billion Public-Private-Partnership (P3) that will design, construct, finance, operate and maintain two new Choice Lanes in each direction along an approximate 26-mile corridor of I-24.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains project plans, tracks project progress, and prepares reports for clients or project stakeholders including interpreting evaluation scores, and deliverable tracking of submittals and reviews.
• Communicates deliverables required of each stakeholder, including step by step timelines.
• Collaborates, reviews, edits, and approves project documents by office disciplines and stakeholders.
• Maintains and distributes project schedules in applicable software.
• Supports the project and/or office quality plan and quality management system by documenting the performance of management and quality control reviews.
• Generates and updates relevant QA/QC documentation and assists with the development and maintenance of the project filing structure.
• Communicates moderately complex issues, problems, or additional information to project managers and project stakeholders and may recommend solutions.
• Reviews project proposals and requirements for adherence to contract language.
• Assists project managers with financial management tasks such as, monitoring labor charges and expense detail and reporting on job budgets and costs to achieve goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience, or
• Associate’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or
• In lieu of education, 7 years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• Successfully delivering 4for4 (on-time, on-budget, quality, client satisfaction) on multi-disciplined projects.
• Identifying and handling risk and change management with guidance from more experienced staff.
• Using system tools to monitor the project.
• Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Skills

• Experience working with engineers developing and managing project workplans, budgets and schedules.
• Experience working on alternative delivery transportation projects.
• Experience working in an owner's representative role.
