Senior Project Coordinator
About the Role
Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice, dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change, and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings and develop strategies to see projects through from beginning to end
- Duties may include taking minutes at meetings, receiving and filing project documents, creating and maintaining project schedules, creating responsibility lists for those involved in the project, and compiling summaries li>Other job duties could include keeping track of documents, like purchase orders, budgets, payrolls, and contracts
- Work closely with project managers to ensure project objectives are met
- Lead and coordinate medium-scale projects and contribute to large-scale initiatives under the direction of project or team leaders
- Facilitate project start-up activities, including requirements gathering, resource onboarding, and project documentation
- Monitor, track, and report progress against project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality metrics
- Monitor and document project risks and issues and facilitate resolution efforts in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Escalate unresolved or high-impact risks appropriately
- Support and coordinate agile activities such as PI planning, standup, and status reporting
- Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment across agile and waterfall workstreams
- Assist in the development and execution of testing strategies, including defect tracking and resolution
- Prepare and maintain project dashboards and reports to support project tracking and decision-making by project leadership
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management, including exposure to both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certifications such as PMP and/or Agile Certifications
- Working knowledge of enterprise project tools such as Clarity and Jira
Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $100,000 or the hourly equivalent. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
