Senior Project Control Analyst (Systems)
About the role
The Senior Project Controls Analyst reviews/backchecks Project Controls Analyst work related to estimates, schedules, change orders, claims, time extension requests, and disputes. They create innovative solutions to assist managers with data needed for quick decisions regarding project health. They educate and develop entry-level staff on the entire lifecycle of a quality product related to project controls (estimate/schedule). They identify critical issues in financial reporting and create pathways to pivot projects to stay on time and on budget. They support the development of the project delivery schedule and cost plan. They assist in thoroughly reviewing the planning project definition with agency stakeholders and gaining approval.
Responsibilities
- Reviews/backchecks Project Controls Analyst work related to estimates, schedules, change orders, claims, time extension requests, and disputes.
- Creates innovative solutions in assisting managers with data needed to make quick decisions in determining the health of a project.
- Educates and develops entry-level staff on the entire lifecycle of a quality product related to project controls (estimate/schedule).
- Identifies critical issues in financial reporting and creates pathways to pivot projects to stay on time and on budget.
- Supports the development of the project delivery schedule and cost plan.
- Affords assistance in thoroughly reviewing the planning project definition with agency stakeholders and gaining approval.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data compilation, detail checking, and quality assurance of all project control activities (cost estimating, cost control, scheduling, and risk management).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills (Windows environment, Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc.) and strong business administrative skills (presentations, report and letter writing, time management, etc.).
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience. Pay
$84,893 to $106,117
Schedule
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or as required (7.5HR/DAY)
