Responsibilities
- Project Accounting & Administration
- Compiling owner requisitions
- Internal audit finding resolution
- Subcontractor requisition and accounts payable processing
- Consumable materials purchasing and equipment inventory monitoring
- Field payroll management
- Affirmative action tracking and reporting
- Project Finance Support
- Monthly project financial forecast preparation
- Monthly cost reports creation
- Key performance indicator monitoring
- Process innovation and improvement
- Project cash-flow monitoring and forecasting
- Change Order Monitoring & Reconciliation
- Contract Administration
- Lead all activities related to contract administration
- Procurement, schedule, and financial reporting oversight
- Securing required permits and verifying insurance coverage for subcontractors
- Facilitating project meetings
- Preparing and submitting monthly job status reports
- Leading project close-out processes
- Turnover of manuals and warranties preparation
- Final payment document submission for subcontractors
- Team Leadership
- Project team development and training
- Leadership and mentorship of project team members
- Development of positive working relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms
- Driving a culture of safety on the project site
- Supporting the company’s acquisition of new work through proposal and presentation participation
- Recruiting and retaining top industry talent
- General Duties
- Proactively identifying and developing professional relationships to secure new work
- Anticipating and meeting stakeholder needs, desires, and goals
- Identifying and addressing project issues proactively
- Supporting the company’s acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations
- Leading the team in driving a culture of inclusion and diversity
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other business-related fields or similar relevant work experience
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Careful attention to detail and reliability of output
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
