SENIOR PROJECT ARCHITECT – MENTOR, OH

Responsibilities

• Initiate design concepts, lead the development of construction documents, and carry a project through the construction administration process for multiple project types and sizes.
• Manage all aspects of project document development and coordinate with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule.
• Conduct technical reviews in support of our Quality Control program.
• Interact with clients on a regular basis. Attend meetings with client/contractor related to architectural aspects. Present and sell design solutions at client meetings and public hearings.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee the work of junior-level Architects and mentor other staff members as needed.
• Aid in the development of proposals.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required from an NAAB accredited program
• Registered Architect in Ohio with a NCARB certificate or ability to obtain through reciprocity
• Ten or more years of related experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop fee proposals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, REVIT, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
• Client interfacing experience
• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
• Self-motivated and adaptable
