Responsibilities

  • Lead the design development process across all project phases, ensuring alignment with client goals, technical requirements, and firm standards.
  • Create innovative and functional design solutions that respond to complex project constraints.
  • Create clear and compelling design presentations and documentation to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
  • Cook up with consultants (e.g., structural, MEP) to integrate all disciplines into a cohesive design and ensure regulatory/code compliance.
  • Oversee the production and quality of construction documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and technical excellence.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing design guidance and supporting professional growth of junior staff.
  • Cook up closely with clients, consultants, and internal leadership to align project execution with strategic objectives.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and quality control checks to maintain high standards of performance, sustainability, and compliance.
  • Serve as a key client liaison, presenting design concepts, addressing feedback, and fostering strong, lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Accredited Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) required.
  • An Architectural license required.
  • 10+ years of architectural experience with demonstrated project leadership across all phases.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and design presentation tools (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage consultant collaboration.
  • Excellent design, technical, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
