Senior Project Analyst
The Senior Project Analyst position supports the U.S. Department of State's Global Acquisitions (GA) in a high visibility modernization initiative. This role is remote but requires occasional onsite work in Arlington, VA.
About the Role
The Senior Project Analyst is essential to maintaining PMO operational rhythm, ensuring that meetings, documentation, risks, issues, and portfolio data are accurate, timely, and actionable to support high-visibility decision-making across GA.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) for the EDSA portfolio.
- Provide scheduling, note-taking, and administrative coordination for PMO governance meetings.
- Prepare meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up documentation for PMO leadership and GA stakeholders.
- Support data entry and portfolio updates for backlog, governance decks, and performance metrics.
- Absorb documentation for PMO leadership and GA stakeholders.
- Assist in organizing and distributing bi-weekly governance materials and sprint plans.
- Collaborate across PMO, sourcing, and technical teams to ensure inputs are collected and properly documented.
- Track and validate requirements, updates, and documentation in support of PMR/FMR cycles.
- Serve as a coordination point for stakeholder communications and documentation consistency.
Requirements
- Experience supporting a PMO or project team in a federal or enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with RAID logs, meeting coordination, and documentation practices.
- Ability to produce organized and accurate meeting notes, action items, and tracking artifacts.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Preferred
- Exposure to ServiceNow, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, or portfolio management tools.
- Experience supporting governance meetings or executive-level reporting.
- Prior federal consulting or Department of State experience.
