Senior Program Manager, Worldwide Grocery Stores

About the role

The Sr. Program Manager for Assortment supports Whole Foods Market's multi-year strategy for advancing selection planning capabilities, in close partnership with merchandising, product and category teams.

Responsibilities

• Supports execution of multi-year capability roadmap strategy
• Manages implementation and optimization of software solutions for assortment planning
• Delivers quantifiable KPI improvements for assortment planning initiatives (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turns, assortment productivity)
• Supports development and implementation of assortment life-cycle processes
• Supports monthly business review practice for key stakeholders to track performance KPIs

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of general AI tools (preferred)
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions (preferred)
