About the role

The Amazon's Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Excellence (OpX) team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join a dynamic team focused on setting new benchmarks, innovating processes, and scaling the SSD network for future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and propose solutions to operational problems, leveraging best practices from other networks like NACF.
  • Develop and manage complex programs and projects across multiple organizations.
  • Create metrics and mechanisms to drive both operational and program improvements.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to source, allocate, and coordinate resources.
  • Communicate results to senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of program/project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of identifying operational problems and proposing effective solutions.
  • Strong understanding of fulfillment and delivery operations, including process standard work, on-time delivery, and productivity tactics.
  • Ability to balance urgency and importance, and differentiate between program-specific and general improvements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech teams and defining program requirements.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and thrive under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to earn trust and collaborate with diverse teams.
