What will you do?
- Own early engagement programs end-to-end, serving as the primary point of accountability for scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional alignment from opportunity intake through business award
- Provide regular, executive-ready program updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, clearly articulating risks, blockers, tradeoffs, and recommended actions
- Lead complex, multi-workstream programs, reconciling technical, commercial, and operational inputs to enable timely and informed decision-making
- Act as a senior liaison across cross-functional teams, partnering closely with engineering, sales, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing to assess feasibility and resolve ambiguity
- Drive decision forums and escalations, ensuring issues are surfaced early with clear options, impacts, and recommendations
- Establish and maintain program governance, including milestones, executive reviews, documentation, and readiness criteria for gate transitions
- Support RFP strategy and execution, coordinating inputs, timelines, and deliverables to ensure commitments are aligned, achievable, and clearly communicated
- Identify and communicate opportunities to simplify, standardize, or better align work across teams, improving early engagement effectiveness and scalability
- Mentor and guide less-experienced program managers, providing leadership through influence, best practices, and example
How will you get here?
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required
- Experience: 10–14+ years of progressive program or project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technology environments
- Skills: Strong understanding of program management disciplines, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and critical path management; working knowledge of server hardware platforms and server lifecycle development; experience supporting RFPs through business award, including cross-functional coordination and executive readiness
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Operates with high autonomy and accountability in ambiguous, fast-paced environments; strong analytical and systems thinking skills; proven ability to influence without authority across global, cross-functional organizations; clear, concise communicator capable of tailoring messages for technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leaders; proactive risk manager who anticipates issues early and drives resolution before downstream impact; strong ownership mindset with a track record of delivering results; familiar with stage-gate / PLCM governance and executive review processes; collaborative, self-motivated, and continuous-improvement oriented
