About the role

The Senior Program Manager, Population Health Incentive Programs, manages the operations of two incentive programs – the Internal Performance Framework (IPF) and the provider incentive program. The IPF is a financial risk-sharing framework between Mass General Brigham and integrated and affiliated care delivery entities and ambulatory practices. Each year, the IPF is developed with a slate of measures for quality, cost, and strategic performance to improve value for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the IPF lifecycle, from measure development to implementation and settlement.
  • Coordinate with actuarial, data analytics, clinical operations, finance, and Population Health leadership teams for quarterly reporting.
  • Drive work forward to create a collaborative, coordinated, and timely IPF development and execution.
  • Develop agendas and lead regular meetings with actuarial and data analytic teams.
  • Develop and manage project plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting production processes.
  • Document decisions and create and distribute meeting notes.
  • Serve as the central point person to track, manage, and coordinate responses to stakeholder inquiries regarding IPF data and reports.
  • Review and evaluate data, synthesize key issues, track open items and next steps, and proactively work to ensure others complete assigned tasks.
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Create user guides and other materials to support understanding of performance measurement and incentive programs.
  • Create presentations about performance and present updates, reports, recommendations, data, and analysis to various central and local audiences.
  • May be assigned other project duties to support the work of the Population Health Finance team leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or equivalent years of experience required.
  • Master's Degree in a related field of study preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years of program management experience required.
  • 0 - 1 years of team leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to effectively plan and facilitate meetings and workgroups.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects, meet deadlines, and manage to schedule.
