Senior Program Manager, Mapping Operations

About the role

Nuro is seeking individuals to join our team as we pivot from delivering food and packages with our autonomous delivery robots to licensing our advanced autonomous driving technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software components for autonomous vehicle systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, data scientists, and product managers
• Contribute to the design and implementation of safety-critical systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages
• Strong understanding of computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning
• Knowledge of automotive electronics and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Passionate about autonomous driving technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Skills

• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Understanding of sensor calibration and data processing

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
