Senior Program Manager, Hub

About the role
As a Senior Program Manager, you will provide leadership to a team delivering compassionate, exceptional support to patients navigating access to complex medications. You will serve as the program knowledge expert, consulting with clients to optimize program impact and ensure continued patient support.
Responsibilities
- Understand client objectives and incorporate them into program service goals.
- Ensure Valeris executes program services in compliance with contracted service levels.
- Manage the client service request queue, including completion and work in progress.
- Implement and manage client-specific business rules.
- Proactively identify opportunities for program improvements in scope of service and/or efficiency in delivery.
- Evaluate data and provide actionable insights to drive the program forward consistent with client objectives.
- Monitor and provide weekly updates on items impacting the program financial forecast.
- Prepare activity summaries for the development and review of client monthly invoices.
- Identify talent for open positions, including developing internal candidates for promotional opportunities.
- Partner with HR to ensure program staffing levels are achieved at all times.
- Work proactively with Human Resources to develop a steady pipeline of candidates.
- Drive training, development, and retention of the team.
- Prepare, review, and analyze client-specific operational results.
- Lead the preparation of client business review meetings with operational metrics and data insights.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program/operational queries and issue resolution.
- Ensure client reporting of Adverse Events/Product Complaints is handled in accordance with client work instructions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Previous personnel/team management experience is required; experience managing managers is a plus.
- Knowledge of the specialty drug product marketplace, health insurance claims processing, and commercialization of products is a plus.
- Previous experience leading customer service teams is a plus.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Skills
- Ability to sit for long periods and use hands to type, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Preferred typing speed of at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.
- Flexibility to travel as needed (minimal).
