Senior Program Manager, FBA capacity and Inventory planning

The FBA Inventory and Capacity Management team plays a crucial role in planning inventory volumes in the Amazon Fulfillment network (AFN) while facilitating sellers' desired growth. Our team specializes in forecasting short and long-term inbound volume based on historical data, trends, seller behaviors, and key signals. Accurate forecasting is essential for FC ops and FC capacity teams to plan operations effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization and minimal operational costs.

Our team is at the forefront of applying AI/ML technologies to transform supply chain forecasting. We leverage deep learning models (DeepAR, LSTMs), Generative AI, and Agentic AI to build intelligent systems that predict, adapt, and optimize inbound operations in real time. This is a rare opportunity to work on AI solutions that directly impact Amazon's global supply chain at scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
• Work with the Science team to build ML models
• Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and deliver on-time
• Own program communication; accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, removing barriers, escalating as appropriate
• Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
• Demonstrated experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity, with the ability to craft effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs in a professional setting
• Experience identifying opportunities to integrate AI solutions into products and services to drive business value

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $115,600.00 - 160,000.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
