Project ManagementFull-time

This role sits within the Amazon Community Impact (ACI) team, which helps Amazon prioritize and address societal problems by leveraging the company’s unique assets—technology, logistics, and expertise. With over 1.5 million Amazonians across 60+ countries, the team scales collective impact by connecting employees to community initiatives through volunteering. The ACI Volunteering team’s vision is to cultivate a culture of volunteering where Amazonians use their time, experience, and skills to shape a better future for local communities, the planet, and future generations. This role focuses on enabling and enhancing the volunteering experience for Amazonians through globally relevant products and programs.

About the role

The Executive Volunteering Lead is a senior program manager who owns volunteering strategy and execution for a portfolio of global senior leaders (Directors, Vice Presidents, Senior VPs, C-Suite) and their organizations. This role works backward from executive and business priorities to create strategic volunteering plans, collaborates with key stakeholders to execute those plans, identifies and closes gaps in existing volunteering products, and drives measurable community and employee impact.

Successful candidates think big and dive deep to build volunteering plans that drive measurable impact. You define an organization’s volunteering strategy based on deep customer understanding and operate at all levels of the organization—from presenting to S-Team (C-suite) members to working hands-on with Community Ambassadors (volunteer event coordinators). You excel at translating strategic vision into execution, analyzing data, and building scalable mechanisms. You’re a force multiplier who deploys AI tools and agents to challenge thinking, redesign processes, automate workflows, and expand organizational capacity. Collaboration with diverse teams and executive presence to influence senior leadership while remaining approachable to frontline volunteers are key.
