Senior Program Manager, Disaster Recovery

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager Disaster Recovery to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and executive sign-off of annual disaster recovery plans for critical systems
• Integrate disaster recovery vulnerabilities into the company's existing risk management frameworks
• Create clear program updates and compliance metrics for audits
• Collaborate on Gamedays and technical tests to ensure systems can fail over correctly
• Benchmark technical execution against established Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
• Transform traditional continuity playbooks into streamlined, actionable recovery procedures
• Review third-party vendor disaster recovery plans to identify and eliminate potential risks

Qualifications

• Active Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) designation is required
• Practical familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms, particularly AWS, and related technologies
• Proven experience leading technical response during critical outages with incident management teams
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex risks for senior leadership
