Senior Program Manager

About the role

Working independently, manages all aspects of a program from inception through final delivery of product. Resolves problems, escalates as necessary, and makes recommendations and occasional decisions regarding pricing, schedules, commit dates, etc.

Program management also emphasizes the coordinating and prioritizing of resources, managing links between the program and the overall costs and risks of the program.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, project schedules and detailed project management plan, development of budgets, billing, and change control
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships
• Responsible for all program aspects and ensures program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customer's contract
• Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, E&O material issues, PPV, credit, RMA’s), and business development
• Builds and maintains business relationships with customers and cultivates relationships that establish SCI’s consultative approach and promote its total solution capabilities within customers’ and potential customer’s organizations
• Understand Sanmina and SCI Technology, Inc. offerings for vertical integration and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina-SCI products or services

Requirements

• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years program/project management experience.
• Strong program management experience.
• The ideal candidate will have a “hands on” program management experience with highly technical, detailed programs requiring stringent reporting requirements.
• Strong business acumen developed through a combination of education and experience.
• Should be able to demonstrate relationship building skills and be comfortable interacting with professionals at all organizational levels.
• Solid negotiation skills are required for interaction with both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Able to be persuasive, while at the same time providing a win/win flavor to all dealings.
