Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) Communications and Networks Directorate at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. The division provides enterprise support to more than 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve installations, as well as delivering technical and policy support and C3I infrastructure for USAF enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of acquisition and program management principles, policies, and practices.
  • Apply knowledge of roles and relationships within DoD and the Air Force.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather, analyze, and measure effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
  • Audit programs against schedule and cost baselines, recommend viable solutions, and pursue alternative courses of action.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and produce acquisition and program documentation including briefings, documents, and plans.
  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in development, production, and deployment of weapon systems and equipment.
  • Formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., DAES, MAR).
  • Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
  • Develop and present briefings and schedules of program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
  • Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Secret Clearance
  • Education/Experience: BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD; OR 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, of which 8 years must be in the DoD.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD.
  • Technical Skills: Acquisition and program management (DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101) Schedule and cost baseline assessment Development of acquisition reports (DAES, MAR, etc.) IMP/IMS review support Development of acquisition briefings, documents, and plans Interpersonal Skills: Effective oral and written communication Ability to brief and support senior-level meetings and reviews Ability to oversee and support program management activities

Final Compensation

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
