About the role
BBH is seeking a full-time Senior Program Manager to join our team in New York. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the proactive management of internal processes across all stages of agency projects—forward planning, strategic development, creative development, and production—ensuring delivery on time, to the highest standard, and within budget. The role focuses on maintaining margin, delivery efficiency, quality, risk mitigation, and resolution for large-scale client projects.
Responsibilities
- Instill and enforce processes, workflows, and tools that support the profitable delivery of client work.
- Contribute to a culture of delivery efficiency and excellence within the Program department.
- Scope and manage multiple concurrent large-scale projects and client engagements totaling over $1–5MM annually.
- Partner with Client Service and Finance leads to manage business challenges, client relationships, annual scopes, contracts, estimates, staffing plans, and profit margins.
- Shepherd and manage the evolution of creative work in partnership with Creative, ensuring quality from concept through delivery.
- Collaborate with Resource Management, Production, and Technology to support innovative and award-winning creative ideas.
- Maintain and enforce high standards of communication and documentation, including status and financial reports, timelines, scopes, change orders, burn reports, forecasting, best practices, and asset management.
- Manage large projects independently from initiation through completion.
- Uphold departmental values, vision, direction, and responsibilities with team stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams to continuously optimize operational processes and systems, ensuring buy-in and compliance.
- Provide solutions-oriented management with strong problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, and a positive demeanor.
- Work with senior stakeholders to manage client relationships and identify opportunities to upsell work.
- Proactively manage and communicate program and business-related risks, including mitigation planning and crisis management.
- Participate in agency new business opportunities and initiatives.
People and Relationship Management
- Collaborate with Creative Directors/Teams, Business Directors/Account Teams, Print Production, Broadcast, Online, Art Production, and Finance.
- Ensure key disciplines are informed of creative work, issues, and timelines, and that changes are communicated quickly with appropriate action taken.
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of program management experience in a creative services organization working with cross-functional stakeholders including strategy, data and planning, creative, editorial, experience design, production, technology, operations, and resourcing.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools, including staffing, scoping, estimating, and burn management.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter who is curious, detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with a calm, collected demeanor.
- Strong understanding of print, digital, and broadcast production and a strong sense of design.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Google Apps.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.

Pay
USD $75,050.00 – USD $120,159.00 annually. Compensation is determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and position requirements.
Schedule
Full-time position based in the New York office.
