Job Summary
The Senior Program Coordinator supports the FIU Embrace Education program by overseeing applications, recruitment processes, and outreach activities. This role plays a crucial part in attracting and selecting students, as well as engaging with potential candidates and community partners to promote the program. Ensures that recruitment and outreach efforts align with the program's strategic objectives and compliance requirements.
- Oversees the application process for prospective students, including receiving, reviewing, and processing applications. Ensure timely communication with applicants and coordination of application materials.
- Cultivates and maintains relationships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate outreach efforts and promote program benefits.
- Provides guidance and support to prospective students and their families throughout the application and enrollment process, including answering queries and facilitating campus visits.
- Maintains and analyzes application and recruitment data to track progress, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. Prepares reports for program management as needed.
- Works closely with the Program Manager and other program staff to ensure alignment of recruitment and outreach strategies with program goals and objectives.
- Ensures that recruitment and outreach activities comply with university policies and relevant regulations. Implements best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plans and coordinates events related to recruitment and outreach, including application workshops, information sessions, and promotional activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of office or related experience.
- Experience in recruitment and outreach.
- Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
