- Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership across multiple construction programs.
- Ensure consistent delivery, technical excellence, and alignment with client objectives.
- Lead and oversee large-scale construction programs.
- Establish standardized program frameworks, reporting processes, and quality controls.
- Provide executive-level guidance and technical direction to Construction Managers, project teams, and program stakeholders.
- Optimize resource allocation, workforce utilization, financial performance, and program-level forecasting.
- Represent the organization in executive meetings, client reviews, presentations, and strategic discussions.
- Drive construction quality management, safety compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and support continuity of program execution.
- Develop and implement workflows, documentation standards, and data-driven tools.
- Mentor and develop senior project and construction management professionals.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Support business development efforts through proposal development, client presentations, market insights, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Qualifications:
- Extensive experience managing complex construction programs.
- Strong technical knowledge and proven leadership capabilities within mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 13 years of progressive experience in construction management, program management, or related fields, including leadership of large-scale projects.
- Experience managing mission-critical, hyperscale, data center, or advanced infrastructure construction projects.
- Advanced understanding of project management principles, construction procedures, safety standards, risk management, and quality processes.
- Experience managing complex multi-site programs involving cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and align project execution with strategic business objectives.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage contractors, designers, clients, and partners.
- Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and program-level performance management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management platforms such as Procore or similar tools.
- Ability to develop strategic plans, implement operational standards, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to leverage digital tools, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve reporting, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills with the ability to develop senior professionals.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including 75-100% travel across the United States until assigned to a long-term project.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car and air as required.
- Ability to obtain or maintain required safety certifications, including NFPA 70E and/or OSHA training.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification is preferred.
