About the role
We're hiring Senior Direct Support Professionals in Camden and Burlington counties. This position is non-exempt, full-time, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $22.36-$22.81/hr.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, guide, instruct, and build skills for assigned persons served regarding daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and interactions with others.
- Provide supervision to direct care staff and take charge of Program site activities when the Program Manager is absent.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required, with additional education in a related field desirable.
- A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of two years of related work experience, or a minimum of six months as a Program Associate in the Bancroft organization required.
Qualifications
- Strong desire to work with autistic, intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals.
Skills
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Knowledge of community-based services.
- Ability to provide patient care assistance.
- Understanding of mental health techniques.
- Proficiency in social services.
