As a Senior Professional Application Designer at Gainwell, you will contribute your skills to harness the power of technology, helping clients improve the health and well-being of their members—particularly the most vulnerable communities. Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams to design, develop, test, and install complex applications software spanning server, client, and web components.
- Bridge connections between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements are accurate and deliver a solid ROI for clients.
- Write highly complex design, coding, and testing documentation to create technical products that meet client expectations.
- Perform development, domain, application design, web service, and database methodologies following best practices provided by project advisors or architects.
- Serve as a technical consultant to senior management for complex projects, including modifying existing applications and designing new modules and components.
Requirements
- Six or more years of application, web, and product design and support experience across the development life cycle, with preference for experience in Medicaid and Medicare technologies.
- A strong foundation in software and product design methodologies, programming languages, operating systems, web development, and application implementation.
- Expertise in application development policies and procedures, as well as analyzing costs and budgets to determine financial feasibility.
- Proficiency in designing and programming across multiple languages and environments as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with application developers, clients, and leadership, with strong written and oral communication skills.
Schedule
- Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States.
- Travel may be required (0-10%).
- Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.
