Senior Product Support Specialist

About the role
The Senior Product Support Specialist specializing in Configuration Management organizes schedules and manages the flow of work within or between organizational units. This role involves reviewing master schedules and work orders, establishing priorities, and adjusting schedules according to projects. The position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation and operation of enterprise PLM systems for U.S. Department of Defense customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop Configuration Management Plans and Implementation Strategy.
- Establish baseline control processes and define release readiness criteria.
- Lead Configuration Management activities ensuring configuration baselines and documentation remain current and accurate.
- Coordinate configuration change implementation among engineering, logistics, supply, and program management stakeholders.
- Maintain configuration status accounting and ensure approved changes are reflected in technical and logistics data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently hold an active U.S. security clearance (or able to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Configuration Management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and documentation tools such as Confluence or SharePoint.
- Proficiency in Windchill or Teamcenter is desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Aerospace and Defense industries or other highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Product Support elements.
- Knowledge of DoD software development policies, requirements, and artifacts like Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Software Design Description (SDD), Interface Design Description (IDD), Software Development Plan (SDP), Interface Control Document (ICD), etc.
- Understanding of data migration and system integration concepts.
- Familiarity with Configuration Status Accounting and/or Provisioning processes in the US DoD or equivalent military industrial supplier or platform owner.
- Experience with at least one PLM application like Windchill, Teamcenter, Arena, Oracle PLM, or Enovia.
Clearance
Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $90,666 – $114,504 USD per year (Remote, United States).
