Senior Product Owner, Workforce Management and Pay Technology
About the role
As the Senior Product Owner, Workforce Management & Pay Technology, you will be responsible for driving the vision for transformative employee experiences across our digital landscape, including Workforce Management & Pay Technology. In collaboration with cross-functional teams in Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Operations, and Finance, you will convert complex business needs into scalable digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Guide the roadmap for HRIT/Workforce Management & Pay Technology, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise through clear and concise communication of product goals and detailed requirements to the Agile Teams, ensuring requirements are understood and stakeholder value is achieved.
- Participate in discovery sessions for new features and projects that continually evolve our HR technology landscape while contributing domain knowledge and technical expertise.
- Own the Technical Product Backlog, leading grooming sessions, and prioritizing features as the Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) while defining feature priorities.
- Track deliverable timelines and communicate delivery dates to stakeholders.
- Take responsibility in assuring a level of quality has been achieved through validation and tests prior and post-production launch verification.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- Experience with Workforce Management systems such as UKG required.
- Experience with Payroll systems such as Workday Payroll preferred.
Skills
- Strong product mindset focused on outcomes and user value.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Skilled in writing user stories and managing backlogs.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar.
- Understanding of integrations, data flows, and enterprise systems.
- Ability to influence and align partners across business and technology.
- Clear communicator who can simplify complex topics.
- Confident in making decisions and driving accountability.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $116,000.00–$162,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
