Project ManagementFull-time

About the role

This Senior Product Manager, Tech role owns the end-to-end subscription tech stack for Amazon Music Unlimited (AMU), one of Amazon's fastest-growing digital subscription businesses. The position is responsible for the systems, flows, and commerce capabilities that determine how customers discover, subscribe to, and expand their relationship with Amazon Music. Key focus areas include launching new subscription plans and offers, building commerce capabilities for new monetization models (pricing add-ons, premium tiers, upgrade paths), driving the full technical lifecycle from signup through entitlement provisioning, and ensuring compliance with federal and regional regulatory requirements. The role directly impacts subscriber growth and revenue per subscriber.

Scope includes subscription platform architecture, plan configuration, offer management, commerce and monetization primitives, bundle integrations, compliance frameworks, and benefit enablement within broader Amazon programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end launch of new subscription plans, pricing tiers, and offers across all surfaces (web, mobile, device) and geographies.
  • Build commerce capabilities and monetization primitives: pricing add-ons, premium upgrades, tiered upsells, and customer-facing flows for discovery, purchase, and management of add-on experiences within the subscription.
  • Own the full subscription tech flow: signup, plan selection, offer redemption, entitlement provisioning, and lifecycle management serving hundreds of millions of customers.
  • Own the subscription platform architecture: plan configuration services, entitlement systems, offer management, and the extensibility required to support rapid experimentation at scale.
  • Drive compliance as a core function of the role. Ensure all subscription flows, communications, and technical systems meet federal subscription compliance requirements (FTC guidelines, auto-renewal laws) and regional consumer protection regulations. Partner with legal and policy teams to drive technical implementations.
  • Define, launch, and measure bundle offerings: partner integrations, multi-service packages, and benefit combinations that open new acquisition channels.
  • Architect the technical integrations that enable AMU as a benefit within broader Amazon programs (Prime, bundles, partner offers).
  • Drive the long-term technical roadmap for subscription services: reduce tech debt that slows launches, advocate for platform investments, and ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Author product narratives (PRFAQs, one-pagers, BRDs), present to senior leadership, and align cross-functional teams on priorities and timelines.
