About the role

The Senior Specialist role involves timely and compliant support of deliverables for marketing projects and managers. Support includes applying established and situational knowledge to apply brand and style guidelines, determine review and approval needs, and execute or coordinate execution across 60+ implementation streams (internet, intranet, extranet, social media, print, emails, etc.). This role will also provide coaching designed to develop independent readiness for Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project deliverable timelines – Lead weekly project support meetings to review and update timelines across multiple partners in workflow tool (WorkFront). Use established, situational knowledge to coordinate timely delivery considering necessary partners, best practices, and lead times. Delegate to Specialists when appropriate, leveraging existing knowledge and providing guidance to promote continued development.
  • Prepare content and gain approvals – Proofread manager-drafted content and apply required branding, style guidelines, and disclosures. Situationally determine review and approval needs (engaging compliance and/or third-party partners as needed) and submit accordingly. Delegate to other specialists when appropriate, leveraging existing knowledge and providing guidance to promote continued development.
  • Execute deliverables – Deliver/coordinate content delivery via 60+ implementation streams including publishing to host sites (internet, intranet, extranet), social media, print, and sending communications via the Email Marketing tool. Engage appropriate enterprise partners, applying best practices and lead times. Upon request, research effectiveness of content (open rates, hits, views, etc.). Delegate to other specialists when appropriate, leveraging existing knowledge and providing guidance to promote continued development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience supporting business operations, project coordination, marketing operations, or related functions
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience using email marketing platforms, including building, testing, and managing complex customer journey workflows
  • Experience applying corporate brand and style guidelines
  • Knowledge of compliance review and approval processes, including experience navigating regulatory requirements and partnering with compliance and legal stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple business partners and stakeholders
  • Experience developing, mentoring, or coaching team members
  • Experience coordinating work and deliverables with support staff, specialists, or cross-functional partners
  • Experience using AdTrax, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront, or similar workflow and marketing technology platforms
  • Knowledge of Ameriprise functions, systems, and business processes
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, banking, or other regulated industries

Schedule

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations.

Pay

The estimated base salary for this role is $66,700 - $91,700 per year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. Most roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.
