Senior Product Marketing Manager
About The Opportunity
Nutanix is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2), a public cloud deployment offering. NC2 allows customers to deploy workloads in AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure using the same Nutanix Cloud Platform, with native integration for seamless application migration and license portability across all environments. It supports consistent operational and security policies and processes across different cloud types, aligning with Nutanix's strategic direction.
Strategy and Messaging
- Translate NC2 business goals into marketing goals and drive consensus across marketing and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Own the messaging framework for NC2, including key value propositions, use cases, customer personas, and pain points.
- Define key news moments around NC2 and hybrid cloud capabilities, driving amplification.
- Organize, coordinate, and drive demand generation planning and execution with multiple marketing and product teams.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to report on NC2 marketing metrics and discuss progress towards goals.
Subject Matter Expertise and Content Creation
- Develop expertise in cloud solutions, hyperconverged infrastructure, and virtualization, with experience in hyperscalers a plus.
- Create and review content including blogs, white papers, analyst papers, infographics, videos, datasheets, web pages, and tools.
- Maintain a repository and tracking system for NC2 content, and manage the NC2-related events and content calendar, customer reference tracking, etc.
- Be a prominent spokesperson for the product in webinars, events, and enablement sessions.
- Ensure customer perspectives are integrated into marketing materials to maximize their impact.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of product marketing experience in datacenter/cloud infrastructure markets.
- Strong domain expertise in cloud solutions and products, with an understanding of hyperconverged infrastructure and virtualization.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) preferred.
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
- Leadership skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to lead a small team, as well as execute as an individual contributor.
- Proven track record in supporting sales teams to meet revenue goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong executive communications skills, and polished presentation abilities.
- Prior experience with leveraging AI tools for productivity is a plus.
Work Arrangement
This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with in-person collaboration. Employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week in locations where our workplace policy applies (San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo).
Pay Transparency
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $201,600 to $302,400. However, base pay offered may vary depending on individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave).
