RemoteRemoteSalesFull-time
What you'll own
- Content strategy and production. Technical blogs, product pages, customer stories, videos, and thought leadership. You'll own creation end-to-end, with demand gen handling distribution channels like social and newsletters — though you'll contribute to and align with those.
- Demo creation. Hands-on production of interactive product demos using Storylane. You'll script the narrative, build the flow, and keep demos current as the product evolves.
- Website. Own the design direction, implementation, and day-to-day management of imper.ai.
- Sales enablement. Decks, battlecards, one-pagers, objection handling, and competitive positioning, built in close collaboration with the sales team.
- Presentations and customer conversations. Comfortable presenting at events or webinars, and able to support customer calls in a technical capacity when needed.
- Brand consistency. Maintain coherence across messaging, visual identity, and tone across all touchpoints.
What we're looking for
- Startup experience. You've worked in environments where you wear many hats and own things end-to-end. You're comfortable with ambiguity and building without a playbook.
- Deep cybersecurity knowledge. You understand the technology, not just the category. You can have credible conversations with security practitioners and communicate clearly to buyers.
- Hands-on with Storylane. Direct experience building and managing interactive demos in Storylane is required. You know how to construct a compelling product walkthrough, not just approve one.
- Strong storytelling. You can translate technical complexity into clear, compelling narratives, for different audiences and different stages of the funnel.
- Sales enablement background. You've partnered with sales teams and built materials that actually get used. You understand what reps need and how to deliver it.
- Presentation skills. Comfortable speaking to large audiences and handling technical questions live in customer-facing settings.
- Web and content tools. Practical experience managing a company website. Familiarity with tools like Webflow or similar is a plus.
- US-based. Required for team and market alignment.
Strong advantage
- Real-world cybersecurity experience as a practitioner or in a technical security role. If you've worked on the defender side, that perspective will make your work sharper and more credible with our audience.
How this role works
- Individual contributor to start. No direct reports in 2026. You'll be hands-on across everything, with the potential to build a team as the company grows.
- Closer collaboration with demand gen. You own the content and messaging; demand gen owns distribution. The expectation is tight alignment and contribution in both directions.
- High autonomy. You'll set priorities in collaboration with leadership and be accountable for the output.
- Building mode. Most of the infrastructure, templates, and processes don't exist yet. You'll create them.
