About the Role

We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to own the story: positioning, messaging, and the narrative that makes a buyer choose Comp AI over Vanta or Drata, across both compliance and cybersecurity.

This role is crucial for driving conversions and ensuring that our messaging resonates with technical buyers. You will be responsible for:

  • Positioning and messaging
  • Building the messaging hierarchy
  • Translating technical products into buyer-friendly language
  • Driving launches and enabling the sales team
  • Running competitive intelligence and win/loss analysis
  • Tying your work to outcomes and continuously updating your approach based on data

What You'll Do

  • Pack every meaningful ship into a complete launch
  • Arm the sales team with battlecards, objection handling, and a pitch deck that wins
  • Keep the sales team current as the market moves
  • Own the monthly product-update newsletter to customers and the base
  • Convert traffic and close the loop
  • Write landing-page and vertical copy that converts paid traffic
  • Run competitive intel and win/loss as an ongoing system
  • Tie your work to outcomes and double down on what's working

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing (technical or security-adjacent a plus)
  • The ability to get fluent fast in a technical category and speak credibly to a technical buyer
  • Sharp, fast writing that makes a category most people find boring genuinely interesting
  • A track record of moving the number through positioning and messaging
  • A habit of living in sales calls and customer interviews
  • A clear point of view on a category and the discipline to test it against evidence
  • Experience marketing against an entrenched competitor and taking real share with positioning, not just discounting
  • Experience in compliance, security, audit tooling, or another regulated domain
  • Experience building for technical buyers (security teams, engineering leaders, CTOs)
  • Comfort owning a full launch end to end
