Senior Product Manager - Technical, Amazon Keyspaces

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Amazon Keyspaces is a scalable, serverless, highly available, and managed Apache Cassandra–compatible database service. Many of the world's fastest growing businesses such as Monzo, Intuit, PwC, and Experian depend on the scale and performance of Keyspaces to support some of the world’s most demanding applications.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a technical product manager to help us accelerate the growth of the Keyspaces business. The primary responsibility of the Senior Product Manager - Technical role is to own and drive key areas of the product. As a Senior Product Manager, you achieve this by defining the product strategy, roadmap, and pricing for a core set of capabilities. You also work with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for customer experience, adoption, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
• 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
• 5+ years of creating written docs for development of new products experience
• 5+ years of enterprise security product experience
• 5+ years of product management in the cloud computing technology space experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics
• Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
• 7+ years of full product life cycle experience
• 5+ years of P&L management and pricing experience

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $152,200.00 - $205,900.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
