About the role

Amazon Key operates with a startup mentality — small teams, high ownership, fast iteration, and ambitious goals. We move quickly, make decisions with incomplete information, and expect our PMs to be builders first.

Responsibilities

  • Own the definition, design, development, and launch of hardware and software products that delight customers — hands-on, from concept to ship
  • Lead the development of product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis, including AI-native and agentic AI experiences
  • Define creative, high-quality, simple product roadmaps and make crisp prioritization decisions
  • Write detailed business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications that engineering teams can build from directly
  • Rapidly prototype solutions independently — create mocks, wireframes, or basic functioning prototypes without waiting for engineering or design resources
  • Partner deeply with software and hardware engineering teams daily — participate in design reviews, make trade-off calls, and unblock delivery
  • Manage backlog prioritization and trade-offs among customer feedback, business opportunities, performance, and operational load
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic and technical issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals
  • Drive measurable business outcomes — define success metrics, track results, and iterate based on data

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Qualifications
