About the role
The Product Manager is a leadership position within an agile organization, responsible for roadmap development that feeds product team(s). Acting as the voice of the customer and stakeholders, the Product Manager bridges the gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring that the final product aligns with organizational goals and user needs. The Product Manager builds business cases, defines go-to-market plans, and determines KPIs, owning accountability for the success of their product(s). As a member of the Retail Technology Solutions team, you will serve as product visionary leading teams to deliver real value across the retail organization.
Responsibilities
- Own, create, and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and understood by all stakeholders and scrum team members.
- Partner with product owner(s) to ensure the scrum product backlogs align with the broader roadmap.
- Lead discovery effort on new initiatives partnering with product owner(s) to translate to stories.
- Deeply engage with stakeholders by establishing and maintaining ongoing business relationships.
- Maintain and improve knowledge sharing and collaboration between the business and IT.
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the Scrum Team.
- Understand how existing business solutions are used to determine current and future state.
- Develop product KPIs in alignment with broader business goals and objectives.
- Facilitate communication of the product vision, goals, and objectives to the Scrum Team in partnership with product owner(s).
- Clarify and support the strategic path to outcomes and advance them into business solutions.
- Make timely decisions regarding priority and scope of work, balancing stakeholder interests, and technical feasibility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics and/or product management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use investigative insight and thoughtful structures.
- Experience in escalating and presenting key issues and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Positive team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Highly effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality results and maintaining high standards.
- Strategic thinker - passionate about driving results and building relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in developing a culture of high quality and high standards.
- Ability to lead without authority and rally teammates around agreed goals.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, O365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure AD, Power Automate).
- Foundational knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Foundational knowledge of the insurance industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge of CRM software (Dynamics, Salesforce).
- Direct experience building digital products in the insurance industry.
Pay
$170,000.00 annual.
