What your team does

Document and legal-related workflows are mission-critical for any legal practice. Our customers generate, receive, and review millions of documents every year. The entire justice system functions through the flow and exchange of documents. Lawyers need efficient and reliable ways to generate and review a wide variety of documents and automate repetitive drafting at scale. You will drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution for Clio’s drafting workflows - spanning how customers discover, adopt, and automate their document drafting workflows within Clio Work. This is a key area of investment for Clio and a cornerstone of our future growth.

  • Cutting-edge technology: Envision how to leverage AI to radically improve the practice of law.
  • Strategy and Prioritization: Drive customer and market research, identify opportunities in the Clio Work space, develop unbiased business cases, and determine priorities that deliver significant impact for our customers and our business.
  • Market and Customer Understanding: Develop strong relationships with our customers and engage in constant communication with customers (existing, churned, and prospect). Deep understanding of the markets in which we operate is expected.
  • Systems Integration: Partner with Engineering to drive the unification of horizontal workflows.
  • Partnerships: Act as the product liaison for partnerships, focusing on the technical complexities and user experience considerations that come with integrating third-party services.

What you bring

  • Proven track record of taking products or features from ideation to a successful launch and landing.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and takes ownership.
  • Strong curiosity and self-reliance; able to figure things out independently in ambiguous situations.
  • Think holistically about product, from user experience to pricing and internal tooling.
  • Experience thinking about the full customer journey, from first use through habitual adoption.
  • Experience with AI-assisted document automation.
  • Experience with document standards, especially in the legal industry (ex. ISO).
  • Successfully launched products in global markets.
  • Have the ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience self-serving answers, insights, and data from a variety of data analytics tools.

What you will find here

  • Competitive, equitable salary with top-tier health benefits, dental, and vision insurance.
  • A hybrid work environment, with expectation for local Clions (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, London, New York City and Sydney) to be in office min. twice per week.
  • A flexible time off policy, with an encouraged 20 days off per year.
  • $2000 annual counseling benefit.
