Senior Product Manager, Insitutional Digital Asset Wallets
What You'll Do
As a Digital Asset Product Manager, Senior you’ll lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of Western Alliance Bank’s digital asset wallets. Specifically, this role involves:
- Defining and executing product strategy for institutional wallet capabilities
- Developing and managing product roadmap aligned with platform priorities and client demand
- Identifying and prioritizing features supporting custody, transfers, and asset lifecycle management
- Leading the end-to-end product lifecycle (requirements, development, launch, iteration)
- Developing detailed product requirements and user stories
- Partnering with Engineering to deliver secure and scalable solutions
- Ensuring wallet functionality aligns with BSA/AML, sanctions, and transaction monitoring frameworks
- Incorporating control requirements into product design in coordination with Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) and Risk
- Partnering with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Relationship teams to ensure integration with onboarding, monitoring, and settlement processes
- Monitoring product performance and adoption metrics
- Driving enhancements to improve scalability, usability, and operational efficiency
- Supporting audit, regulatory examination, and governance processes
What You'll Need
- 8+ years of related experience in Product Management, Treasury Management Sales or similar field
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Previous leadership experience required
- Advanced knowledge of general financial services or banking products and services
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Advanced knowledge of banking products, including treasury management, credit cards, as well as pricing dynamics
- Market specific awareness
- Advanced experience with Product Management Methodology including new product launches, road mapping, business cases, product enhancements, communication and marketing plans, and robust executive management presentations and reporting development
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
- Occasional travel required
