Senior Product Manager, Digital Assets & Tokenization

FinanceFull-time

The Impact You Will Have

In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering DTCC’s client-facing digital asset offerings, with particular focus on tokenized collateral and adjacent market structure use cases. You will operate at the intersection of client needs, product strategy, and execution by partnering with market participants, strategic partners, engineering, operations, legal, risk, and compliance to identify external pain points, define clear business requirements, and lead one or more workstreams from discovery through delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis

    • Partner with institutional clients, market participants, domain experts, product leaders, and technical teams to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for tokenized asset products and workflows, especially across collateral, repo, securities finance, and post-trade use cases.
    • Conduct client meetings, working groups, workshops, and process analysis to understand current-state operating models, pain points, adoption barriers, and opportunities for asset mobilization, intraday efficiency, and stronger commercial outcomes.
  • Requirement Documentation & Backlog

    • Produce clear requirement artifacts such as business requirements, user stories, process flows, capability definitions, and operating model documentation that are unambiguous and implementation-ready.
    • Define acceptance criteria, delivery outcomes, decision points, and edge cases so teams can move with speed and confidence while maintaining appropriate control standards.
    • Maintain traceability from business goals → workstreams → epics → user stories → delivery outcomes, and transform requirements into an actionable Jira backlog that supports prioritization, grooming, and execution.
    • Take ownership of one or more workstreams end-to-end, ensuring requirements stay current, delivery-oriented, and tied to the client and market problems.
  • Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Serve as a liaison across clients, product, engineering, architecture, operations, legal, compliance, risk, and other partners, facilitating discussions and building alignment on scope, priorities, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
    • Communicate status, risks, external feedback, and required decisions clearly, helping teams bring the right people into the room, resolve issues quickly, and maintain momentum across multiple parallel workstreams.
  • Agile Delivery (Scrum)

    • Work within an Agile development framework and actively support planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, standups, and other delivery rituals as needed.
    • Help ensure delivery remains aligned to business and client outcomes by supporting prioritization, maintaining high-quality requirements entering the sprint, and partnering closely with product and engineering on sequencing and execution.
  • Solution Design

    • Support & Validation
      • Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture partners to translate business requirements into functional solutions, with attention to tokenized asset workflows, client onboarding, operating model design, and compliance and control considerations where applicable.
      • Support validation and acceptance activities by defining scenarios, reviewing outcomes against requirements, and confirming that delivered capabilities meet client intent, DTCC standards, and broader regulatory expectations.
    • Continuous Improvement
      • Gather feedback from clients, internal stakeholders, and pilot or production activity;
      • Evaluate solution performance against expected outcomes, market needs, and workstream goals;
      • Recommend iterative enhancements that improve product relevance, client experience, and execution quality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience, preferably in product management, product strategy, business analysis, consulting, or other market-facing roles within securities services, collateral management, repo, securities lending, post-trade infrastructure, market utilities, or regulated digital assets.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working directly with institutional clients and cross-functional teams in regulated environments, with strong exposure to requirements management, delivery execution, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and managing requirements via tools such as Jira; exposure to tokenization, tokenized securities, digital collateral, or adjacent digital asset platforms strongly preferred.

Talents Needed for Success

  • Ability to foster a culture where honesty, transparency, and accountability are expected.
  • Strong collaboration skills across external clients and internal business and technology teams; able to build consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Credible understanding of traditional finance workflows, especially collateral, repo, securities lending, custody, or post-trade, paired with meaningful exposure to tokenization or regulated digital assets.
  • Strong analytical, market-structure, and documentation skills able to translate ambiguous client pain points into clear, testable requirements and executable workstreams.
  • Executive communication and external engagement skills, including the ability to lead client discussions, working groups, and strategic partner conversations.
  • Ability to articulate the practical opportunity for tokenized assets in collateral, including asset mobilization, more efficient intraday activity, and reduction of capital, funding, and liquidity friction.
