Senior Product Manager GTM – Racks (Hyperscale & OEM)
Hyperscale & OEM Growth Strategy
Develop and execute a growth strategy for Vertiv’s racks business focused on hyperscale and OEM customers, with clear revenue objectives, product priorities, and execution milestones.
Identify customer-specific opportunities where tailored rack designs, platforms, or configurations unlock incremental business and long-term programs.
Build compelling business cases for custom and semi-custom rack platforms that balance customer requirements, scalability, and profitability.
Customer-Driven Product Definition
Engage directly with hyperscale and OEM customers to understand rack-level requirements including mechanical design, form factor, integration, thermal strategy, cable management, material flow, and deployment constraints.
Act as the voice of the customer to product management and engineering—translating real-world requirements into clear product definitions, roadmap inputs, and platform strategies.
Shape reusable rack architectures and feature sets that enable customer-specific solutions while maintaining manufacturing efficiency and speed to market.
Go-to-Market & Sales Partnership
Partner with Global Strategic Accounts, OEM sales teams, and regional sales leadership to develop account-specific rack strategies and pursue large-scale programs.
Support complex customer engagements by positioning Vertiv’s rack capabilities as a strategic enabler—not a commodity—within broader infrastructure solutions.
Enable sales teams with clear messaging on rack differentiation, hyperscale-ready capabilities, and value propositions tied to customer outcomes.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
Maintain deep expertise in the hyperscale and OEM rack landscape, including competitive offerings, sourcing models, customer design philosophies, and emerging requirements.
Analyze wins, losses, and customer feedback to continuously refine rack platforms, features, and commercial approaches.
Monitor trends related to AI, high-density computing, liquid cooling integration, and global deployment models as they impact rack design and demand.
