About the role

DTN is transforming the agri-food supply chain through a comprehensive SaaS platform that simplifies grain origination, traceability, producer management, and operational workflows for elevators, processors, brokers, advisors, and grain networks. DTN is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Grain Operations to lead strategy and execution for a critical product domain supporting grain contracting, settlement, logistics, inventory management, and back-office grain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy for DTN’s grain operations product domain
  • Lead customer discovery efforts to identify high-value problems, unmet needs, and market opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of grain operations workflows, customer constraints, and operational risks
  • Use customer insights, product data, and market intelligence to guide product direction and investment decisions
  • Define product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives aligned with customer outcomes, business goals, and platform capabilities
  • Made strategic prioritization decisions balancing customer needs, technical complexity, commercial impact, and operational considerations
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for growth, workflow modernization, and market differentiation
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions across complex operational workflows
  • Support successful product adoption through partnership with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Commercial teams
  • Establish product success metrics and evaluate performance across adoption, operational impact, and business outcomes
  • Leverage data, experimentation, and customer feedback to continuously improve product direction and execution
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI, automation, and advanced analytics into customer workflows and decision-making processes

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience leading complex B2B SaaS products
  • Proven ability to own products end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap development through delivery and measurement
  • Strong product judgment with experience operating in ambiguous, fast-moving, or operationally complex environments
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer value, operational complexity, technical constraints, and commercial outcomes
  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering teams on workflow-intensive systems involving APIs, integrations, data models, and operational processes
  • Familiarity with data-intensive, analytics-driven, or real-time software products
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical, operational, and commercial audiences
  • Ability to influence direction and drive alignment without direct authority
  • Experience collaborating effectively with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams

Qualifications

  • Experience in ag-tech, grain operations, commodity trading, marketplace platforms, or supply chain software
  • Understanding of traceability, compliance, or sustainability initiatives within agriculture
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, or advanced analytics capabilities within SaaS products
  • Familiarity with commodity markets or other complex operational domains

Pay

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $115,000 and $149,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
