Senior Product Manager, Flex and Installments Products
About the role
The Senior Product Manager will lead the development of innovative payment solutions, leveraging generative AI technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer payments, digital wallets, and financial services.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end product strategy and execution for Flex and Installments, covering discovery, roadmap definition, delivery, launch, and iteration.
- Champion user experience across digital checkout, tokenized experiences, wallets, BNPL flows, and merchant/issuer integrations.
- Define and maintain a globally aligned roadmap, balancing innovation, technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs, and profitability.
- Translate complex problem spaces into clear product decisions, prioritization frameworks, and trade-offs.
- Author high-quality product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide engineering delivery.
- Partner closely with Architecture and Engineering to navigate technical trade-offs, manage dependencies, support estimation, and balance new features with platform quality, scalability, and technical debt.
- Act as a subject matter expert in client solutioning and implementations with issuers, acquirers, processors, fintechs, and merchants.
- Track performance, analyze adoption, and translate market feedback into continuous product improvements.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years with an advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- Prioritized Qualifications: 9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 7+ years with an advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- Knowledge of consumer payments, digital wallets, tokens, or other financial services or banking products.
- Strong experience with solution architecture for payment platforms, including payment rails, gateways, partner integrations, and APIs.
- Experience using AI to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of product delivery.
- Experience leading cross-functional processes within large, global, matrixed organizations.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, driving products from concept to scale.
- Experience operating in regulated environments, with strong attention to risk, controls, and operational rigor.
- Proven ability to manage and execute a prioritized product backlog in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
The estimated salary range for this position is $169,100.00 to $270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
