Senior Product Manager, Financial Management
We evaluate what to pursue, craft strategies to maximize impact, and help teams deliver market success. We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe.
About the role
The Financial Management team develops market-leading API products that power the most influential digital finance experiences—think budgeting apps and financial management tools offered by banks and wealth platforms. Our mission is to unlock financial freedom for everyone by making it easier for customers and businesses to meet their financial goals. We do this through a state-of-the-art data aggregation and machine learning engine that enables our customers to seamlessly build delightful experiences on top of consumer-permissioned financial data.
You'll be responsible for defining the products which enable Plaid and our customers to shape the future of financial services. We are looking for the right product manager to own and grow Plaid’s financial management products, including Transactions, Investments, and Liabilities, making them even more valuable to our customers and partners. You’ll work closely with customers to identify opportunities in our Financial Management products, size them, and then work with engineering to bring them to life. Product Managers at Plaid own the end-to-end problem that they are trying to solve with their team. You will set the product direction, drive new capabilities into our core offering, and ensure sound strategic direction and effective detailed plans are in place—from architecture to operations to go-to-market.
