About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. The mission is to increase the GDP of the internet.

About the Team

The Enterprise Product team bridges Stripe’s core capabilities with the bespoke needs of the world’s largest organizations. Product managers are aligned to specific priority industries (e.g., insurance, healthcare, public sector) and act as the “CEO” of their assigned vertical, identifying high‑leverage opportunities, building 0‑to‑1 products, and influencing the global product roadmap. The role partners closely with GTM leadership (Sales, Partnerships, Marketing) and navigates across the broader Product organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the industry product roadmap—define and execute a multi‑year product strategy for the priority vertical, deciding what Stripe builds natively, solves through platform extensibility, or partners on.
  • Ship 0→1 products—identify unmet needs through deep customer research, data analysis, and market intelligence; lead the full product lifecycle from problem definition and technical scoping through PRD, API/UX design, build, launch, and post‑launch iteration.
  • Be a strategic partner to GTM and customers—work deeply with large customers, partners, and GTM teams; translate market noise into clear product signal, shaping feature requirements and defining data models and integration patterns.
  • Act as a force multiplier across Stripe’s platform—influence core product teams (Payments, Billing, Connect, etc.) to ensure their roadmaps reflect enterprise customer requirements; advocate for platform changes with technical specificity.

Minimum Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping successful products in complex, regulated environments.
  • Technical fluency: comfortable reading API specs, reasoning about system‑design trade‑offs, and holding your own in engineering discussions.
  • Deep customer obsession: talent for engaging with merchants and partners and distilling complex pain points into simple, elegant product requirements.
  • Analytical rigor: use data to prioritize, define metrics frameworks, dig into usage data, and make quantitative arguments for product investments.
  • Master communicator: ability to articulate deep technical and strategic concepts through precise, persuasive prose.
  • High agency and influence: adept at building consensus across disparate teams and driving momentum without formal authority.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and bias for action: comfortable with ambiguity, skilled at prioritizing high‑impact initiatives, and experienced operating with limited resources.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience building products in healthtech, insurtech, public sector, or similarly complex, regulated industries.
  • Experience building platform, API, or developer‑facing products.
  • Experience working closely with Enterprise Sales teams and C‑suite stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies.

In‑office Expectations

Stripes are generally expected to spend at least 50 % of their time in a local office each month, though requirements may vary by role, team, and location. Some teams (e.g., Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Bengaluru, and Dublin) work 100 % from the office.

Pay

The annual US base salary range for this role is $214,300 – $321,500. For sales roles, the range includes on‑target earnings (base salary plus commissions/bonuses). Salary ranges may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and location; non‑US candidates can request the appropriate range during the interview process.

Benefits

  • Equity
  • Company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses
  • 401(k) plan
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
