Responsibilities
- Lead data quality initiatives for HEDIS and regulatory reporting accuracy
- Identify and resolve data gaps and inconsistencies in payer systems
- Drive enhancements in data validation and reconciliation processes
- Define and implement data governance frameworks alongside business stakeholders
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HEDIS measures and STARs methodologies
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into technical specifications
- Develop predictive models to enhance quality outcomes and STARs performance
Qualifications
- 7-12+ years of healthcare payer experience, focusing on HEDIS and CMS STARs methodology
- Expertise in regulatory reporting and data quality management within payer environments
- Strong understanding of claims and encounter data, and data lifecycle processes
- Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions
- Experience in client-facing roles, preferably in consulting or product engineering settings
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with both technical and non-technical teams
