About the Team

The AlphaSense Product Team builds the AI market‑intelligence products that thousands of enterprises rely on every day. Our Agent API extends that intelligence beyond the AlphaSense platform, letting enterprise engineering teams and partners embed decision‑making intelligence directly into their own applications. This role exists to make that developer experience excellent, sitting at the intersection of engineering, developer support, customer experience, and the broader API product effort.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the developer experience for the AlphaSense Agent API. You’ll own everything a developer touches on the path to a successful integration: the developer portal, documentation and quickstarts, SDKs and code samples, authentication and credentials, structured responses and streaming, error handling, and the logging and tracing developers need to debug agentic workflows. Your north star is time‑to‑first‑call—how quickly a developer at a sophisticated enterprise can authenticate, make a real call, and trust what comes back.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end‑to‑end developer journey, defining and improving every step from a developer’s first visit through authentication, first successful call, integration, and production.
  • Make the portal and docs a first‑class surface by driving the developer portal, reference documentation, quickstarts, tutorials, code samples, changelogs, and the SDKs and client libraries that let developers self‑serve.
  • Meet developers in their existing stack: align the API with the standards and conventions teams already use to consume LLMs and agents, making integration a near drop‑in change.
  • Make agentic workflows debuggable by providing structured responses, verbose logs, tracing, and clear error messages so developers can see what the agent did and fix issues without guesswork.
  • Cut time‑to‑first‑call by hunting down onboarding friction across credentials, authentication, and testing so a new developer reaches a working call quickly.

Who You Are

  • Expert in developer products, having owned public APIs, SDKs, or developer portals, and understanding a developer’s workflow from the inside.
  • Experienced building for developers who integrate your product into experiences for their own end users.
  • Technically hands‑on and fluent in the modern AI developer ecosystem; able to read API documentation, authenticate, and make a call yourself.
  • Knowledgeable about how engineering teams integrate LLMs today and the conventions around SDKs, errors, and tooling.
  • Strong thought partner for engineering, capable of driving decisions on complex technical topics.
  • Treat documentation and onboarding as a product, valuing great quickstarts, working code samples, and clear, actionable error messages.
  • Experienced operating in a fast‑scaling enterprise environment and energized by bringing structure and standards at scale.

Compensation

Base Compensation Range: $160,000 — $220,000 USD. Final offers may also include a performance‑based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
