About the Role

You'll work with the leading minds of corporate governance to help them bring positive change to the businesses and communities they serve.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with NACD members to facilitate discussions and initiatives that drive positive change in corporate governance.
  • Collaborate with NACD leadership to develop and implement strategies that enhance the effectiveness of corporate governance practices.
  • Engage with industry experts and thought leaders to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in corporate governance.
  • Support NACD members in navigating complex governance issues and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs and resources to improve the skills and knowledge of corporate governance professionals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in corporate governance, preferably within a professional association or similar organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate governance or a related field.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices.
  • Experience in strategic planning and project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
