RemoteRemoteMarketing$160k–$200k/yrFull-time

About the role

Lexamica is changing how injured Americans find the right lawyer to fight their case. When a firm in Ohio refers a brain injury client to a specialist in Miami, or a mass tort network routes a case to the right local counsel, that relationship and that case run on Lexamica. We're the infrastructure layer connecting 1,500+ plaintiff firms across the US, from the nation's largest contingency practices to solo attorneys. Firms use Lexamica to manage lawyer-to-lawyer referrals and an expanding set of relationships across medical care and litigation finance. Behind that network is a 40-person team that puts a premium on curiosity, collaboration, experimentation, and speed. We're a Series A stage company with strong revenue growth and contracts with many of the largest firms in the country.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own referrals: the co-counsel relationship that sits at the center of what we do. A firm has a case it can't take. Another firm can. Your job is to make what happens between them faster, easier, and more valuable, from a client’s first call for help all the way to when they get justice. This is a senior IC role with responsibility for the outcomes of our referrals product. You'll help decide which problems are worth solving, discover solutions with design and engineering, and drive them through delivery, measurement, and iteration.

What You'll Own

  • More firms successfully sending referrals. Understand what gets firms activated, sending their first referral, and making Lexamica part of how they work.
  • Faster, better referral outcomes. Improve response time, placement, conversion, and what happens when a referral doesn't find the right home.
  • A better co-counsel relationship after the handoff. Make communication, case updates, visibility, and accountability work for both firms without creating unnecessary work.
  • Make Lexamica smarter about referrals. Lead the rhythm that turns customer conversations, product data, and frontline signals into shared understanding across the business and make sure that understanding changes what we do next.

About You

  • You turn customer needs into product decisions. You discover how the work actually happens, not just what customers ask us to build. You can get underneath a request, distinguish the underlying problem from the proposed solution, and find an answer that works without turning Lexamica into a collection of exceptions. You’re comfortable holding that line with demanding customers, including when the answer is no.
  • You validate before you scale. You identify the assumptions that could make an idea fail and look for the fastest credible way to test them. You run experiments, prototype, use data, and work directly with customers to de-risk larger investments before the team commits significant time. Then you use what you learn to decide what deserves further investment.
  • You think commercially. You understand how product decisions affect activation, referral volume, conversion, retention, network health, and revenue. You can tell the difference between useful work and important work, make tradeoffs accordingly, and explain what business outcome a product investment is meant to change.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of product management experience, including 2+ years as a PM at an early-stage company that achieved real traction.
  • Owned a product people genuinely depended on with responsibility for what got built, what didn't, how customers used it, and whether it produced results.
  • Interested in how the product actually works. Referrals move through integrations, APIs, permissions, data mappings, notifications, and workflows across multiple systems. Comfortable getting into that complexity and working through tradeoffs with engineering.
  • Comfortable pulling and shaping product data yourself, including with SQL and MongoDB aggregations.
  • Use AI to explore data, prototype ideas, investigate technical systems, synthesize customer feedback, and build lightweight tools.
  • Experience with legal tech, vertical SaaS, marketplaces, or tech products with meaningful operational complexity is especially relevant.

What We Offer

  • Base salary: $160,000–$200,000. Compensation within this range varies based on experience, scope, and work location.
  • Equity: 0.1%-0.2%
  • 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision for employees; 50% for dependents
  • Flexible PTO and unlimited sick days
  • Hybrid in Hoboken, NJ, 1-2 days a week with VP of Product
  • U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.
