Senior Product Manager, Client Digital Experience

The Senior Product Manager, Digital Client Experience is a senior individual contributor role responsible for shaping the end-to-end digital journey within Asset Servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, alignment, and continuous improvement of the Asset Servicing client digital journey.
- Champion a client-centric digital approach to engagement, advice, and growth.
- Define problems clearly before advancing solutions, ensuring teams are aligned on client needs, business goals, constraints, and success measures.
- Define intended outcomes and translate them into actionable strategies in collaboration with digital solutions and UX practices, sequencing initiatives across platforms.
- Identify where clients need shared capabilities versus differentiated digital experiences across segments, products, or channels.
- Partner with business stakeholders to clarify objectives, identify root problems, and align execution with client needs.
- Communicate client digital journey priorities through consolidated milestones, decision frameworks, problem statements, and executive updates that make direction, tradeoffs, and success measures clear.
- Drive increased utilization, effectiveness, and adoption of our digital platforms.
Experience and Knowledge
- Formal education or demonstrated experience in product management, product strategy, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in digital product management or product strategy.
- Expertise in journey mapping, prioritization, stakeholder management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, UX designers, and executive leadership.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling systems or comparable digital products within complex organizations, achieving measurable objectives and delivering return on investment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to understand and translate needs into effective solutions.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and staying up to date on industry trends.
- Track record of navigating ambiguity, surfacing tradeoffs, and guiding teams toward practical, evidence-based solutions.

Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $164,600 - 288,000 USD. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
