On-siteMarketing$166k–$195k/yrFull-time

About the role

Robinhood is building the future of finance with a mission to democratize finance for all. The Capital Markets team is opening private markets—IPO access, Robinhood Ventures, and new private‑company and alternative‑investment products—to everyday investors. This senior product manager will own these product lines end‑to‑end, shaping strategy and execution. The role is based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY, with an expectation of at least three days per week on‑site.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one Capital Markets product line (IPO Access, Robinhood Ventures, or single‑asset private offerings) and contribute to the overall strategy across all three.
  • Lead 0‑1 launches, including the in‑app experience for investing in a single private asset and the discovery surfaces that make private markets navigable for first‑time investors.
  • Translate ambiguous regulatory, operational, and partner requirements into clear, dependable customer experiences, working closely with legal, compliance, and operations.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners—issuers, underwriters, fund administrators, and infrastructure vendors—to ship shared products.
  • Set the quality bar for product flows where confusion can cost customers real money and trust.
  • Use research, experimentation, and product analytics to decide what to build and to prove what worked.
  • Communicate strategy, trade‑offs, and reasoning behind decisions to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience building and shipping high‑quality consumer or consumer fintech products.
  • Track record of shipping 0‑1 products at scale, beyond prototypes and pilots.
  • Comfort with complex financial products; ability to become an expert in new instruments, structures, or regulatory regimes quickly.
  • Experience working with legal, compliance, operations, or other regulated‑product stakeholders, with judgment to know when to push and when to redesign.
  • Experience collaborating with third‑party partners on large‑scale projects to deliver a shared product.
  • Strong product judgment and ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into clear strategy, roadmap, and execution plans.
  • Ability to operate in unclear, 0‑1 situations while maintaining a high quality bar under real‑time pressure.
  • Demonstrated history of using research, experimentation, and analytics to guide decision‑making.
  • Clear communication and relationship‑management skills, with experience influencing highly cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • Passion for Robinhood’s mission to democratize finance and excitement about opening asset classes previously closed to most investors.
  • Experience and proficiency building with the latest AI tools such as Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with private markets or alternatives (closed‑end funds, BDCs, interval funds, SPVs, Reg D offerings, or the IPO/ECM process).

Pay

Base pay ranges are aligned to three compensation zones:

  • Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC): $166,000 — $195,000 USD
  • Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL): $146,000 — $172,000 USD
  • Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL): $129,000 — $152,000 USD
