About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager for our High-Efficiency product category. This role is full-time and hybrid, with 2-3 days per week expected to be spent at our Innovation Center in Grand Rapids, MI.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product strategy for the High-Efficiency product category across its full lifecycle.
  • Lead product planning, market analysis, and cross-functional execution to deliver profitable, differentiated solutions that meet customer needs, code requirements, and business objectives.
  • Drive strategy and vision of growth, starting with an in-depth understanding of the customers in each channel. Market projections, gap analyses, SWOT, and other tools to understand current picture and the future.
  • Develop and maintain customer and market insights through various means, including getting out with customers.
  • Communicate the vision through storytelling and other means.
  • Lead the category through good leadership and data, making a business case for the direction the category should go.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Apply business metrics to ideas and pathways within the initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of full-life-cycle Product Management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Product Management experience in the building material product industry.
  • Located within a commutable distance from our Grand Rapids, MI Facility.
  • Authorized for work within the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in High-Efficiency Venting space.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical stakeholder.
  • Strong understanding of product financial metrics and the ability to develop business cases and ROI analysis for new product initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience reporting to senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
